Employee Highlight: Seth’s 15 Year Work Anniversary

As Red Dog Media celebrates our 15 year anniversary, four core employees, who have been around since the beginning of it all, are also celebrating 15 years working here. One of those employees is Seth Jameson, our current Vice President of Operations.

Seth Jameson – Vice President of Operations

Back in 2007, Seth Jameson was working as a draftsman and junior designer at a German kitchen cabinetry company. He had studied architectural engineering at the University of Miami and had always seen himself working in the design industry. But when his college roommate, Bryce Landier, reached out to him about his new business venture, he couldn’t pass up such an exciting opportunity.

As Seth has reflected on how far the company has come in terms of employee & performance growth, he shared what it was like in the beginning with just four employees: “We pretty much worked all the time, 7 days a week, with everyone doing everything they could to make the company succeed and survive… because all our jobs depended on it. I never could have predicted we would grow to where we are today.”

Before he was promoted to Vice President of Operations, Seth wore many hats throughout the development of the company. He’s done it all from marketing campaign manager to marketing team lead to finance, HR, IT, and office management. When asked about his favorite contributions throughout those many roles, he states, “What I am most proud of is being part of building a great company filled with great people. I consider myself fortunate to have been involved in interviewing, hiring, training, managing, and now leading all of the wonderful employees that make Red Dog Media the special company that it is today.”

As the Integrator of the company, he is responsible for the vision execution. In other words, Bryce, CEO, creates the vision for where the company is going and Seth ensures that vision becomes our reality. The challenges that he most enjoys revolve around resource allocation and process innovation.

Seth feels very fortunate to be in his position, but what does success specifically look like for him? When asked, he shared, “I used to define success in my role by how my direct efforts positively impacted company performance. Now I define it by how successful I can help others become.  Because together, our team can accomplish things none of us as individuals could achieve on our own.” He recommends that new employees seize the opportunity that is in front of them at Red Dog Media because it is filled with amazing potential.
